The successful Messaging Technical Lead applies lead experience with messaging design, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Lync server, as well as a strong functional knowledge of IT operations to provide a high level of organizational support in a transitional messaging environment. He/she should have a detailed knowledge of the mechanics of the Microsoft Exchange application, how Exchange integrates with hosted applications and data, as well as the transport mechanisms to pass email content to external systems.</br></br>

The Ideal candidate will have experience with complex messaging environments, including running Exchange and Notes email systems side by side in a co-existence scenario or in concert with indicated compliance systems.</br></br>

The successful candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with strong personalities during stressful situations in a professional manner.

Responsibilities may include:</br>
- Leading a team of Messaging Engineers</br>
- Monitoring Microsoft Exchange 2010 infrastructure for an enterprise firm</br>
- Identifying and troubleshooting integration problems with co-existence and/or compliance environment</br>
- Support for issues entered in the Help Desk ticketing system, including end-user support which requires server-side intervention to resolve.</br>
- Maintaining and troubleshooting compliance product integration and data retrieval from the messaging environment</br>
- Support backup operations and patching implementation as needed</br>
- Planning for infrastructure and operational changes to support ongoing pace of the customer business</br></br>

<strong>Qualifications</strong></br></br>

Minimum Requirements:</br></br>

- 7+ years of experience in providing level 2/Level 3 operations support for a Microsoft Exchange based messaging environment (Exchange 2010 experience is required)</br>
- 1+ years of experience in providing level 2/level 3 operations support for a Microsoft Lync / Office Communication Server based real time communications platform</br>
- 3+ years as a technical lead or other management experience</br>
- Possesses advanced knowledge of Lotus Domino and associated messaging integration approaches</br>
- Detail oriented approach with strong history of compliance and policy adherence</br>
- Strong practical understanding of troubleshooting approaches, including knowledge of underlying networking, server, storage, and organizational concepts</br>
- Ability to collaborate on troubleshooting and remediation steps with high-stress end users</br>
- Strong demonstrated ability to communicate with senior managers and executives on technology initiatives</br>
- Demonstrated ability to lead consultants in various project work streams</br>
- Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables</br>
- Proven ability to understand a customer's needs</br>
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related engineering degree</br></br>

Preferred Skills:</br></br>

- Candidates who also possess advanced experience with one or more of the following platforms will be preferred:</br>
- Lotus Notes / Domino</br>
- Autonomy</br>
- Actianc</br>
- CA Data Loss Prevention</br>
- Experience supporting SameTime communications products</br>
- Experience in messaging support for financial environment</br>
